All the rooms are rather large and have a separate sitting area, similar to a junior suite. I stayed in one of the refurbished rooms which had hardwood flooring and a flat screen tv in both the sitting area and bedroom. The hotel is located in a very nice location in the Paulista/jardins neighborhood. Free wifi of reasonable speed is available throughout the hotel.
The bathrooms and hotel in general are slightly dated. The buffet breakfast is very average.
The furniture is very simple. The room was not a luxury one as described on Booked.net. There isn`t soap to wash the dishes that were not very clean.
The luxury room is spacious. There are quite some restaurants in the area.
Upon arrival, we noticed that the bell-boy had seen us step out of the taxi at the entrance of the hotel, but he remained standing inside the hotel instead of coming out to help us with the suitcases (we could actually use some help, especially because you need to climb some stairs to reach the reception). Thus the first impression was not very welcoming. This hotel is in fact an apartment hotel, and not a regular hotel. As such, it does not have the "feeling" of a hotel, that a tourist may be looking for. Most guests are business people (location is close to Avenida Paulista, the business area) (for some, this may be a pro; for us, seeking for a holiday feeling, this was a con).
The hotel was in a great location in the middle of the Jardins and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the hotel was a great option for business travel.
The internet wi fi was sporadic and the lines sometimes dropped. This is a problem everywhere in Brazil.
Very friendly staff.
Although there were kitchen facilities, you had to buy your own matches to light the stove, and ask for things to use in the kitchen (they didn't provide things automatically).
Aparthotel, very service-oriented & friendly staff, great location
Very good location. Near of goods restaurants, theaters, museums, shoppings. Also, a good and safer neighborhood. Good price and comfort rooms. Also, very good and helpful receptionists by day and beginning of the afternoon.
Besides the very good and helpful recepcionists that stay until the beggining of the afternoon, there are not so good receptionists by the end of the afternoon and night. They couldn't handle simple problems, like heling us printing a few urgent documents, telling us they have a "page's printing limit", so, they printed only half of the documents we needed (only half was useless), even though we told them that they could charge whatever they want for that service. We also had to hear from them that this was not their responsibility since the official guest's computer that is in the hotel was broken, they couldn't use the other computers and printer they have, and that was full responsibility of a third party company. That was painful to hear, as I'm a lawyer.
Hotel with perfect location. This part of Jardins is very safe, and only few minutes walk of best shopping spot in Sao Paulo (Rua Oscar Freire). Also veru close to fancy bars and restaurants. Hotel room are modest but very clean. Hotel personnel are very friendly and accomodating Breakfast buffet is very good it includes: coffee, tea, selection of fresh fruits, selection of bread and bakeries, cereals, ham, cheese, yogurths,
The room was really big Perfect location
The decor was really dated and running down.
The refurbished rooms are great
Asked to change rooms- old rooms are not as nice
